Is your story (true or fictional) a bunch of chaos in your head?
The first-ever Writer’s Retreat will be held in Ramona from Aug 5th-Aug 7th, 2022. The theme of the retreat is ‘Hello Storyteller.’ We will identify ourselves as creative storytellers simply by showing up and dedicating this time to our identity as Storytellers.
Friday evening, we will learn a little about one another and then a little about the story arc. So many of us just start typing and get distracted, losing sight of our goal, or never even having a goal, to begin with. Or we never start because we don’t know where to start! We will apply what we learn by spending Saturday writing. We will structure our time by using the Pomodoro Method.
Part of identifying yourself as a storyteller is hanging out with other storytellers. We will do some relaxing in the jacuzzi, bird-watching from the backyard, and maybe take a moment to just breathe… together.
